Ingredients
- Two big potatoes better if big lengthwise.
- 3 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
- Salt
- 3 tablespoon grated cheese
- 2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 2 wooden skewers

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Gently insert a skewer lengthwise from one end of potato to all the way out from another end.
- Working in a spiral motion hold a sharp thin knife in a slight angle on the potato.
- Now cut the potato while rotating it in a direction away from you. If you hold a watch infront of you sideways, then clockwise is the direction you should rotate the skewer and counterclockwise you should cut it.
- Take your time and cut into even thin slices all the way starting from one end to other.
- Fan out the potatoes gently until you have some gap between slices.
- Add the minced garlic into melted butter and mix well.
- Brush this butter garlic mixture onto slices evenly.
- In a small bowl mix salt, ground black pepper, and red chilli powder.
- Sprinkle this salt mixture onto potato properly until they are completely coated.
- Now sprinkle the grated cheese between the slices.
- Set the skewers on sides of a baking pan such that the potatoes are in suspended position.
- Bake for 25-30 min or until nicely brown.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and enjoy!
