Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup atta
  • Water to knead the dough
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3 potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 7-8 curry leaves fresh
  • 1 onion small, finely chopped
  • Salt
  • 1/2 inch ginger piece grated
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves fresh, to garnish
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric

Instructions
 

  • Knead a soft dough just like chapatis.Add salt too.Keep covered for at least 30 minutes.
  • Roll out small puris. Use cookie cutter to give shapes. Deep fry till golden.
  • In a non stick pan, add 1 tablespoon oil.Heat on low flame. Add rai, jeera, ginger. Let it splutter.
  • Add onion and cook till soft. Add curry leaves, red chilli powder, haldi and salt.
  • Add the mashed potatoes and mix well. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Cover with a lid and let cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
