Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for Perfect Sugar-Free Burfi
- Date Selection: Use high-quality, soft dates for the best flavor and texture. Medjool dates are excellent for this recipe.
- Roasting Technique: Low and slow roasting is key to prevent burning the oat mixture. Constant stirring is essential for even cooking and to avoid sticking.
- Consistency Check: The mixture is ready when it forms a soft, pliable dough that holds its shape when pressed gently. It shouldn't be too dry or too wet.
- Storage: Storing the burfi in an airtight container prevents it from drying out and maintains its freshness for a longer period.
