Ingredients
- Milk - 1 cup
- Cream - 3/4 th cup
- Sugar - 1/4 th cup
- Egg yolks - 2
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- Strawberry puree/preserve - 1/4th cup

Instructions
- Heat the milk and sugar together while simmering it. Meanwhile whisk the egg yolks with sugar till it forms like a yellowish paste
- Now slowly add the hot milk+ sugar mixture into the yolk mixture while whisking it so that it does not curdle.
- Once mixed, pour back the mixture into the saucepan, and cook on a low flame, making sure it does not boil otherwise the eggs in the mixture will get scrambled. Add the vanilla extract as well to it. Cool the mix and refrigerate.
- Whisk the cream to form fluffy mix, I have used Amul whipped cream for the same. Chill it in the fridge.
- Now mix the strawberry preserve to the milk custard mix, then fold in the whipped cream into it. Freeze this mixture.
- After an hour, just mix the mixture with a spoon and freeze again. Do this twice and then serve when set .
