Additional Tips
- For an extra burst of strawberry flavor and a delightful texture contrast, swirl in a homemade strawberry compote just before the final freeze—simply simmer chopped strawberries with a touch of sugar and cool completely before adding.
- If you prefer a smoother, scoopable texture without an ice cream maker, whip the cream until soft peaks form before gently folding in the strawberry mixture, then freeze; this incorporates more air and lightness.
- For a festive Indian twist, add a hint of cardamom powder or a few drops of rose water to the base before freezing, complementing the strawberries with subtle aromatic notes.
- Store the ice cream in a shallow, airtight container, pressing a piece of parchment paper directly onto the surface to prevent the formation of ice crystals and maintain its creamy consistency.
