Peanut & Banana Chocolate Flapjacks

Chewy flapjacks are always known for its nutritional value. It can be a wholesome snack or even a breakfast option along with milk. This chocolate flapjack is rich in protein and the sweetness comes from the natural sweeteners(banana, berries and blackcurrants).

  • 2 medium sized well ripe bananas
  • ¼ cup + 1/8 cup milk
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • ¼ cup mixed berries
  • 1/8 cup + 1 tbsp blackcurrants
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 ½ tbsp flax seed powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon roasted peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • optional - 1 tbsp honey 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips


  • Mix oats, cocoa powder, desiccated coconut and flax seed powder in a bowl
  • Mash bananas well and add milk, honey(optional) and give it a mix.
  • Add peanut butter, oats mixture to the banana mixture.
  • Mix well and stir in the mixed berries, blackcurrants and peanuts & Choco chips
  • Preheat oven @190c. Align a baking sheet on a baking tray and fill the mixture. Press and flatten the mixture
  • Bake for 30 – 35 mins@ 190c. Allow it to cool and slice. Store in an airtight container
