Being a South Indian, i am fond of chutney powder. In order to make it healthy, i experiment it in many ways. This can also be called as immunity boosting chutney powder as the benefits of neem flower to our body are numerous. Include neem based ingredients in your diet regularly to keep your gut healthy. Neem flower chutney powder is a delicious powder that is made out of dried neem flowers, urad dal, chana dal and toor dal. Believe me, kids will also enjoy this as there is no bitter taste of neem flowers. Hidden health benefit 🙂

Recipe Time & More
Ingredients
- 1/8 cup Neem (dried flower)
- 1 cup Whole Urad Dal
- 1/2 cup Toor Dal
- 1/2 cup Channa Dal
- 17 - 20 Red Chillies (dry)
- 2 sprig Curry
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 1 tsp Pepper Corns
- 2 tsp Cumin Seed
- Crystal Salt (as per taste)

Instructions
- Dry roast all the ingredients except asafoetida one by one and transfer to a plate.
- Dry roast the crystal salt.
- Once cooled, grind them together with asafoetida and transfer to an airtight container.
- Mix with gingelly oil or ghee and serve as an accompaniment for idli, dosa varieties, chapathi and steamed rice.
Recipe Notes
Take care not to over roast the dal and neem flowers else it will lead to a burnt smell.
Add chillies according to your taste.
