Ingredients
 

  • 1 Coconut paani waala nariyal (grated without its black skin) tender
  • 1 ltr Milk
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • ½ tsp Cardamom powder
  • ¼ cup Nuts almonds, pistachios, cashews - chopped and raisins dry
  • 1-2 strands Saffron optional, I have not added

Instructions
 

  • Crush and soak the saffron strands in 1 tsp warm milk.
  • In a thick bottom pan boil milk. Keep the flame medium and stir it continuously to avoid sticking at the base until milk gets reduced to its half ie. around 500-600 ml.
  • Now add grated coconut to milk and stir it firmly until it again started boiling. Cook on low-medium heat for about 15-20 mins.
  • Add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron and dry fruits. Stir it well and cook it for 5-7 mins.
  • Garnish it with chopped dry fruits.
