Ingredients for Jhalmoorii (puffed Rice)

  • 100 gms puffed rice
  • 50 gms flat rice
  • 4 piece papad
  • 50 gms corn flakes
  • 50 gms ground nut
  • 2 tsp Chat masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Mango powder
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • Oil as required for frying

How to cook Jhalmoorii (puffed Rice)

  1. Heat oil fry Papadopoulos keep aside. Then fry one by one cornflakes, ground nut and flat rice.
  2. Now take a bowl add crushed Papad, puffed rice, flat rice, ground nut and cornflakes.
  3. Mix properly with chat masala, black salt, red chilli powder and mango powder

Notes

In rainy day serve jhalmoori with cup of tea. It can kept more than  15 day in a air tight container. We can serve any time any day.
