Honey Chilli Baby Corn is a delicious snack item which can be served in a party. The taste of honey chilli baby corn is the blend of sweet, sour and spicy.

Ingredients
  

  • Baby Corn - 200 gms or 10 to 12 pieces
  • Corn Flour - 3 Tablespoon
  • All Purpose Flour - 2 Tablespoon
  • Spring Onion - chopped 1/4 cup + 2 Tablespoon for garnishing
  • Garlic - chopped 1 Tablespoon
  • Ginger - chopped 1 Tablespoon
  • Vinegar - 1 Tablespoon
  • Soya Sauce - 2 Tablespoon
  • Green Chilli - 2 chopped
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Sugar - 1 Teaspoon
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Refined Oil - 2 cups for deep frying
  • Honey - 2 to 3 Tablespoon
  • Sesame Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon

Instructions
 

  • Wash the baby corn and cut them into half (lengthwise).
  • Sprinkle little salt on them and keep for 5 minutes.
  • Now in a plate mix corn flour and all purpose flour (2 tablespoon each) together and season the mixture with salt.
  • Next add baby corn into the flour mixture and coat them well.
  • Heat the oil in a wok and deep fry the coated baby corns.
  • Once the colour changes to golden brown, take them out on a tissue paper to absorb the extra oil.
  • Now heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and add chopped ginger and garlic.
  • Saute them for few minutes and add chopped spring onions.
  • Take remaining 1 tablespoon corn flour in a bowl and add half cup water to dissolve it. Keep aside.
  • Add salt, sugar, chopped green chilli, red chilli sauce and pepper powder in the pan. Mix well.
  • Add the fried baby corns and mix with all the spices.
  • Now add vinegar, soya sauce and the dissolved cornflour into the pan. Mix them very well.
  • Finally, add honey and sesame seeds on top and give a good toss ( 1 minute) so that honey coats all the baby corns.
  • Switch off the gas serve it in a plate and garnish with fresh chopped spring onions.
