Cream Cheese Spinach Filled Onion Rings

Ingredients
- 1 big white onion
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1 tbsp sweet jalapeno chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
- 1/4 cup wash and chopped spinach
- Salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes/ sweet pepper powder
- 1 tsp oregano powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp flaxeseeds meal
- 1/4 cup water or as needed
- 4 tbsp milk
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- heat a pan. Add chopped spinach and let water evaporates. In a bowl add cream cheese, add spinach, chopped coriander, salt and black pepper mix well. Keep it in fridge for 10 minutes
- Add garlic powder, Cayenne pepper powder, oregano salt in all purpose flour. Mix well keep it aside. Cut onion in rings. Seperate the rings and arrange all rings on baking sheet.
- Filled each Onion rings with cream cheese mixture. Keep onion rings in fridge for 10-15 minutes to set and firm.
- Meanwhile add water in flaxeseeds meal and let it rest to bloom. It will become gel like consistency. Add salt and black pepper in bread crumbs mixture. Keep onion rings out from fridge. dip these rings in all purpose flour mixture.
- Than dip in flaxeseeds gel mixture and lastly coat with bread crumbs to make thick and crispy layer on onion.
- Heat oil in a pan. When oil is hot enough. Fry these onion rings till golden brown in colour from both sides.. keep it out on paper towel. Serve hot with ketup or sauce of your choice
