Chocolate Rose Cookies With Whole Wheat Flour

These Pretty Chocolate Roses are made with 100% whole wheat flour. My daughter loves snacking on them any time of the day, it just makes me a happier mom. They are really easy to make and have just five Ingredients

Ingredients
- 1 & 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup butter at room temperature
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- Milk as required
- A pinch of salt skip if you are using salted butter

Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar till the butter turns pale and fluffy
- Sieve the flour, Cocoa and salt together over the butter
- Mix every thing well and check if you need some milk to make it a piping consistency dough, if needed add a tbsp milk or some more, but make sure not to add much of milk otherwise cookies would not hold their shape
- Switch on the oven for preheating at 180 degrees
- Put the star nozzle in a piping bag and put the dough in it
- Pipe the roses on a parchment lined baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for 12-14 minutes till the sides are little darker in colour
- Cool completely and store in an air tight jar
Notes
Add milk very carefully, little amount will do.
