Chickpea paratha This is such a recipe we can carry for school, college, office or anywhere. I made the fillings with adding chickpeas flour and other ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup wheat flour
  • ¼ cup millet flour
  • 1 teaspoon carom seeds
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion seeds
  • 1 teaspoon raw turmeric paste
  • 1 teaspoon raw ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon onion paste
  • 2 tablespoon green chillies chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 teaspoon kasuri methi
  • Sesame oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Make a dough with wheat flour, millet flour, carom seeds, salt and water. Then keep rest for 10 minutes.

  • Heat oil in a pan add onion seeds, chopped garlic, chopped green chillies, raw turmeric paste, ginger paste, onion paste, chickpeas flour, garam masala and salt.

  • Mix evenly stir for a few minutes and see slowly it will leave the pan. Let the fillings cool then stuff into wheat dough.

  • Take handful mixed flour dough spread like chapati with rolling pin. Then cut like shown in picture. Spread the fillings and fold again light press with fingers.

  • Apply little oil and bake both sides on griddle. Now ready to serve.
