Delicious, creamy milk based dessert apple kheer usually served during fasting days but it can be made during festivals also.

Ingredients
- Two large red apple
- 1 tbsp Dates/ Khajoor pulp
- 1 litter Full cream Milk
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamomHari ilaichi powder
- 8 no. Saffron threads
- 2 tbsp Chopped nuts
- Chopped nuts for garnishing
- 1 tbsp Sugar/ Chini optional
- 2 Tbsp Desi ghee/ Clarified butter

Instructions
- Peel wash and grate the apple. Soak saffron in 2 tbsp warm milk. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan then add grated apple cook until the moisture evaporates. Add milk mix and reduce the heat and cook till the mixture gets thickened, stir continuously.
- Now add sugar, dates pulp, dry fruits, soaked saffron and cardamom powder, Mix well and again cook for 2 to 3 minutes with stirring. Turn off the heat. Garnish with dry fruits serve chilled.
