Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup chana dal soaked for 1 hour
  • 2 small onions finely chopped
  • 1 big tomato diced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • Salt
  • 1 green chilli
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala powder
  • ¼ teaspoon haldi
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • Green dhania for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a pressure cooker,put 2 tablespoon oil and cook the onion till light brown. Add the tomatoes. Add all masalas, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, salt.
  • Fry very well. Add the dal. Fry on slow flame for 10 minutes. Add water and on full flame cook for 3 whistles. Serve hot with Puris / Roti / Parathas
