About this recipe

There are water festival in Burma in the month of April 13 th to 15th. This is such a recipe children are crazy to have the dessert.

Ingredients for Burmese Dessert

  • 250 gms corn flour
  • 250 gms ghee
  • 250 gms sugar
  • 1 cup chopped mixed dry fruits
  • 1/2 tsp food colour
  • 1/2 litre water

How to cook Burmese Dessert

  1. Take a deep pan add water and boil. Make a smooth paste with corn flour.

  2. When it starts boiling add corn flour paste. Stir continuously.
  3. Add ghee and sugar. Without any fail stir continuously.
  4. Add food colour, chopped mixed dry fruits and green cardamom powder.
  5. When become thickened put off the flame. Take a flat tray brush with ghee and pour for setting. Set for 1 hour.
  6. Then cut into pieces and serve to lovely children

Notes

Make sure there should not be any lump.
