Basunti Malai Kofta

Malai kofta different people cook in different ways but I always prefer simple way and less ingredients. I always try to manage whatever I have in my fridge or easy to get. So one 250 grams jackfruit piece was lying in my vegetable tray. I was thinking what to do. Now see what I am doing.

Ingredients
- 250 gm Jackfruit boiled shredded
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/4 cup Ground Nut crushed
- 1/4 cup Nutella crunch
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 2 tsp Green Chillies chopped
- 1 tsp Black Pepper crushed
- 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
- 2 tsp Couscous Paste
- 2 tsp Cashew Nuts or paste paste
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
- leaves Coriander fresh
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 2 leaves Bay Leaves 2 bay
- Soaked Kaiser soaked kaiser
- Oil as required
- 2 gm Roasted Bengal Gram 2 Tbsp roasted bengal
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste

Instructions
- Jackfruit should be boiled dried and shredded.
- Now take a mixing bowl add shredded jackfruit, crushed ground nuts, chopped green chilli, chopped coriander leaves, salt, nutella crunch roasted bengal gram and lemon juice. Mix well then shallow fry and keep separate.
- Make a paste with soaked Kaiser, coconut milk, couscous paste, cashew nuts paste.
- Take a frying pan add 1 tbsp oil, add bay leaves, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, ginger paste and sprinkle with little water stir continuously. Add black pepper and gram Masala. Now the basunti paste.
- But don't over cook or boil, turn koftas both sides. Serve with roti, paratha, poori, pulao etc.
Notes
Tender jackfruit is as good as meat. Those who don’t like non veg they will appreciate.
