Valentine Coconut Block

My home in every occasion or festivals we made Coconut laddo or barfi. So when it came to celebrating valentine day,besides different recipes for valentine party I made Valentine Coconut Block, it is tasty, easy to make and proven recipe ,loved by everyone.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup scrapped coconut/ dry coconut powder
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 pinch red food color
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 inch heart shaped cookie cutter

Instructions
 

  • Blend coconut and water in blender to a smooth paste.
  • In a pan add milk sugar and coconut paste and boil in a medium flame stirring occasionally. Boil until it becomes sticky. Add cardamom powder and mix it well. switch off the flame.
  • Start making coconut block using cookie cutter taking small amount at a time. In a bowl take 2 tablespoon of water and add powdered sugar and 1 pinch of red food color mix it well. Spread some on each coconut block.
  • Heart shaped coconut block is ready to serve in party.
