Ingredients
- 1 cup Gooseberry (chopped, large Indian gooseberries)
- 3-4 mint leaves (large)
- black salt ((kala namak) to taste)
- 1 pinch Black Pepper
- 2-3 mint leaves (fresh, for garnish)

Instructions
- Wash and slit the large gooseberries into four with sharp knife. Gently remove the pieces of amla and discard the seeds.
- Place the chopped amla into a blender and add mint leaves. Pour in some water just enough to make a smooth puree.
- Strain this mixture using a sieve, pressing gently to remove as much juice as possible. Add more water to the pulp and blend again; strain.
- Stir in more water to the strained mixture to make 2 large cups or glasses. Season with black salt/kala namak and pepper powder. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
Recipe Notes
- When you have surplus of amlas, chop them and freeze in ziplock bags to enjoy this fruit all year long!!
