Iftar Special Khajur Icecream (Ramadan Mubarak)

Ramadan had started off, it is that time of the year when our Muslim friends fast for the whole month. Since Ramadan is about festivity, feast, friends & family. Iftar is the time when the feast begins, you call people for dinner, you gather, you talk you celebrate the fast with all your friends & family over a gala dinner. I somehow love this part of Ramadan, you serve the most authentic & delicious foods for Iftar. I happen to talk with a friend of mine & she asked me to prepare something for her on this auspicious occasion. So I felt like treating my friend on Iftar with something delicious & energy packed..As they go for Roza the whole day without having water & food. Today I am sharing something which my friend & all of you can try for Iftar . Its a super yummy dessert which is super easy & quick. I am sure every one would love to have it & no one can say No to it.. Happy Ramadan!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cream
  • 5-7 tablespoon of khajur dates
  • 2-3 drops of Kewra
  • 5-7 tbss of brown sugar OR sugar free
  • 1/2 cup chopped khajur Dates for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients & blend it in the mixer into a smoothie
  • Now take a air tight container & refrigerate it for 2 hours
  • Now blend it again in the mixer, till it becomes fluffy
  • Again take it out in the container & refrigerate covering the lid for 4 hours so that your ice cream remains soft.
  • At the time of Iftar, scoop out in bowl, garnish with chopped Khajur(dates) & serve 🙂

Notes

  • You can add anjeer as well
  • If your icecream is not that soft in second time,dont panic just blend it to smooth fluffy mixture & refrigerete it again
