This is one of the most popular steer food of Bengal. When ever we used to visit for vacation, this had to be in the list. "KOLKATA STYLE EGG ROLLS".. Although not being brought up in Bengal, being a true Hyderabadi, these rolls still have a special place from childhood..

Ingredients
  

  • For the stuffing :
  • Sliced onion - 1
  • Chopped cucumber - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped green chillies - 2
  • Kasundi - 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt
  • For outer covering :
  • Maida - 1 cup
  • Refined oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Eggs - 3

Instructions
 

  • Knead a soft dough using the maida, salt, refined oil and salt. rest it for 15 minutes.
  • Now make a mixture of the ingredients mentioned under "stuffing".
  • Now make a little thick rotis out of the dough and roast them on a tawa and keep aside.
  • Whisk the eggs with little salt.
  • Take a pan, heat some oil on it, put little egg mix.Put the roasted roti on it and fry on both sides and cook till egg is done.
  • Put the stuffing mixture in it and roll to serve.
