Tindora Fry also known as Dondakaya and ko wakai is a delicious south Indian recipe made with by stir frying thinly sliced Tindora tempered with seasonings.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm kundru wash n cut long into 4
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon mistar seeds
  • 1 pinch asaefotida
  • Salt
  • 1/2 red chili powder
  • 1/4 Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mango powder
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoon Oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in pan Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds n asaefotida when seeds crackle add ivy gourd n saute well. Sprinkle little water n cover the lid now cook that for 2min on medium flame
  • Open lid and now start adding salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, mango powder n turmeric powder add water now n cover the lead cook it for 5 7 minutes on low flame.
  • Serve this with hot dal rice, sameer rice.

Notes

Cut ivy gourd into shape whatever you like.
