Ingredients Â
- Squid 500 gms cleaned and cut into small pieces
- Onion 2 Chopped
- Tomatoes 2 Chopped
- garlic paste 2 tsp
- Ginger chopped 1tsp
- Pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp
- Chilli powder 1tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coconut Oil 2 tablespoons
- Curry leaves 3 sprigs

InstructionsÂ
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add chopped onion. Saute till they turn a light brown in colour.
- Add the ginger paste and cook till the raw smell goes.
- Add all the spice powder and saute for a minute. Add tomatoes and cook till oil separates.add squid and needed salt, mix well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- No need to add water as the squid will release its juices when it starts to cook, Open the lid and add garlic paste and curry leaves and cook till the gravy thickens,now the squid is done.
- Transfer too a serving dish ,sprinkle some more curry leaves and serve with pathiri,paratha,rice,malabar special muttayappam...
