Palak puri is made by mixing wheat flour with pureed spinach and other spices. It is best enjoyed pickle and chutney.
2 cups whole wheat flour ( Gehu ka aata)
1/2 cup boiled spinach puree
1/2 tsp carom seeds( ajwain )
1/4 cup gram flour ( optinal )
salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Mux togeather spinach puree ,salt , carom seeds wheat flour and 1 tbsp oil in a bowl.
Add sufficient water and knead into a semi still dough .
Set a side 5 ti 10 minutes
Heat sufficient oil in a kadhai . Deep fry puris till golden brown and puffed up . Drain on absorbent paper .
Serve with green cutney , pickles .
