Recipe Notes
Additional Tips
- For extra creaminess and a restaurant-style finish, whisk in a tablespoon of fresh cream or full-fat yogurt just before serving, but ensure the gravy is off the heat to prevent curdling.
- To intensify the smoky flavor, briefly char the paneer cubes over an open flame or grill pan before adding them to the gravy.
- If you prefer a nut-free version, substitute the cashew paste with a paste made from soaked sunflower seeds or blanched almonds for a similar creamy texture.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) and a squeeze of fresh lime to enhance the tangy and aromatic notes of the dish.
