Moringai or drumstick leaves and flowers are usually included in food made for newly mother’s for reviving strength and for sufficient flow of mother’s milk for the baby.
This Autumn season, drumstick trees in Nashik are flooded with white thick bunches of these flowers and lush green tender leaves, so I make sure I include either moringa leaves or flowers in my Kootu, kozhambu, adai and wadas and also in many other dishes.
