    Drum stick flowers have medicinal properties. It controls blood pressure and blood sugar. It grows in spring season. This is the period when people fall sick. Whole drum stick flowers, leaves and seeds are medicinal. We should consume it because of its medicinal properties.

    Ingredients
      

    • 100 gm drum stick flowers
    • 7-8 dal badi
    • 7-8 potato cubes
    • 7-8 garlic cloves optional
    • 1 tsp radhuni seeds
    • 1 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp cumin powder
    • 2 tbsp mustard sauce
    • 2 whole red chilli
    • 2 green chillies
    • Oil for shallow fry
    • Chopped tomato
    • Salt to taste
    • Chopped coriander leaves

    Instructions
     

    • Wash the flowers and steam. Then make a paste with garlic and green chillies, keep aside.

    • Heat a pan add oil shallow fry badi and potatoes keep aside.
    • In the same pan add radhuni seeds, whole red chilli, turmeric powder, cumin powder chopped tomato. Stir then add the paste of flowers.

    • Cover and cook for a few minutes then add fried badi and potatoes. Again cook for a few minutes and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with steamed rice.
