Ingredients
- 1 cup Oo Mugi barley about 250 grams (1 packet)
- 2 medium sized onion finely chopped
- Half cup peas/matar fresh or frozen
- Half cup chopped french beans chopped
- Half cup chopped carrots chopped into cubes
- Half cup sliced or chopped mushrooms
- Half cup chopped capsicum chopped into cubes
- 3 tbsp oil or ghee
- 3-4 medium garlic cloves/lahsun
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds/jeera
- Salt
- Pepper and Garam Masala
- Butter

Instructions
- Soak the Oo Mugi barley in water for 1-2 hours. drain and keep the Oo Mugi barley rice aside.
- Heat 3 tbsp ghee or oil in a pan add cumin seeds, chopped onions and garlic cloves.
- Saute on a low flame, till the onions are golden and then add all the chopped veggies including mushroom and peas.
- Saute for 5 to 7 minutes on a low flame add salt, pepper and garam masala
- Gently let cook all the veggies till the salt and masala mixes well.
- Now take a bowl add the drained Oo Mugi Barley layer wise. One layer barley one layer cooked veggies (2-3 layers)
- Put butter, cover it and microwave for 10 – 15 minutes.
- Oo Mugi Barley is ready. Serve hot.

Note: I don’t like tomatoes so I have not added
