  • soak the barley for 4 hours, then boil with 1/2 tsp salt, cloves and green cardamom. cool discard the cardamom and clove wash it and keep aside.
  • boil the beans and carrot. grate the potato add boiled carrot, beans, barley, salt, coriander, green chili, red chili powder, lemon juice, bread crumbs and salt.
  • make the tikki deep fry them till golden and crispy. serve hot with green chutney.
