Phirni is a delicious traditional North Indian dessert made with rice, milk and nuts and served in clay bowls. Its enjoyed during specials occasions and festivals like Diwali, holi and karwa chauth . usually this dessert is flavoured with saffron but, I am mango lover and converted this recipes to my taste buds. I strongly recommend Mast Aam Phirni for all mango lover,

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Basmati rice
- 10 cup full cream milk
- 2-3 cardamom crushed
- 2 tbsp nut chopped
- 05 tbsp Fresh Mango puree or pulp
- 2-3 tbsp sugar or as desired

Instructions
- Wash the rice properly and soak the rice for 20 minutes and strain the rice
- Take a mixer and grind the rice to a smooth paste.
- Heat milk in a large thick bottom pan add crushed cardamoms.
- When the milk starts to boil adds rice paste and on low flame let it simmer gently until rice is completely cooked.
- Keep stirring continuous to avoid sticking of rice in the bottom of the pan.
- Add the sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
- Remove the mixture in a big bowl and cool down to room temperature.
- Now add mango puree or smooth pulp to mixture and mix well.
- Remove in serving dishes and keep in fridge for 30 minutes for chilling.
- Remove from fridge and garnish with chopped nuts.
Notes
1. use basmati rice for Best result.
2. use clay bowl for serving.
3. chill phirni compeletly before serving.
