Ingredients
 

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 cup Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Salt as taste, or as per taste
  • 11/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder turmuric pwr
  • 2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 glass Water
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek dry
  • 2 tbsp Coriander coriender
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida asafoedia
  • 1 leaves Bay Leaves bay
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 2 Cardamom
  • 5-6 Potatoes boiled
  • 2-3 Garlic
  • 1 tsp Degi Mirch
  • Ajwain methi puri : 1 cup wheat flour for
  • 5-6 tbsp Flour
  • 3-4 tbsp Semalina semalina
  • 1/4 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Pinch Of Turmuric Pwr of turmuric pwr
  • 3 tbsp Fenugreek dry
  • 1/2 tsp Ajwain
  • 1/4 cup Coriander
  • 1 tsp Carom Seeds
  • 3 tbsp Oil deep fry

Instructions
 

  • Wash and chop ginger,green chillies and garlic. Boil and peel the potatoes then roughly mash them with hands. Make tomato paste by adding some water.
  • In a wok,put oil,add all dry masala and saute it for few secs. Now add garlic,ginger and saute until it becomes light brown.
  • Add green chillies,tomato paste,all spices,kasuri methi and mix well. Saute it until the oil seperates out.
  • Now add mashed potatoes and mix well.
  • Add 1.5 glass of water and mix well. Cook it at low flame so that gravy become thick.(don't add much water because we have to make masaledar thick aloo)
  • When the gravy becomes thick,add garam masala and garnish with coriander leaves.

  • Puri : In a bowl,put all ingredients and mix well. Make a dough by adding sufficient water,apply some oil and keep aside for 10-15 min.
  • Make the dough in shape of small sphere and deep fry it in sufficient oil until it becomes golden brown Keep it on tissue paper.

  • Spicy aalo puri is ready. Serve it with sliced onion,mango pickle and green chilly.
