Ingredients
- Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
- Curd 1/2 cup
- Ginger 1 inch piece
- Garlic cloves 8-10
- Cashews 10-15
- Garam Masala powder 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder as per taste
- Dhania powder 1 tsp
- Haldi powder 1/4 tsp
- Butter or Ghee 1/2 cup
- Salt

Instructions
- Wash chicken nicely.
- Make a paste of curd ginger garlic cashews garam Masala dhania chili powder haldi powder & salt using a grinder.
- Marinate chicken with this entire paste. Keep aside for 1 hr.
- Heat a heavy bottom pan or wok . Put this marinated chicken in the pan & cover with a lid. Simmer the flame.
- Cook for 10 min . Stir in between. Chicken will cook in its own juices. Check using a fork if it is cooked after 10 min.
- If it is not cooked then again cover it & cook for 3-5 min. If their is no juice left add little water.
- Once it is completely cooked & the water is all dried add ghee or butter. Mix well. & fry for another 2- 3 min on medium flame.
- Serve hot with dahi wali roti , or laccha paratha
Notes
- Always use small boneless pieces of chicken for this recipe
- If you omit / reduce cashews & ghee from this recipe you can include it in your weight loss menu
- Low flame is the key to this recipe because if the juices are burnt chicken will not be cooked properly.
- Almonds can also be used in place of cashews
