Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
Curd 1/2 cup
Ginger 1 inch piece
Garlic cloves 8-10
Cashews 10-15
Garam Masala powder 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder as per taste
Dhania powder 1 tsp
Haldi powder 1/4 tsp
Butter or Ghee 1/2 cup

Instructions
Wash chicken nicely.
Make a paste of curd ginger garlic cashews garam Masala dhania chili powder haldi powder & salt using a grinder.
Marinate chicken with this entire paste. Keep aside for 1 hr.
Heat a heavy bottom pan or wok . Put this marinated chicken in the pan & cover with a lid.
Simmer
the flame.
Cook for 10 min . Stir in between. Chicken will cook in its own juices. Check using a fork if it is cooked after 10 min.
If it is not cooked then again cover it & cook for 3-5 min. If their is no juice left add little water.
Once it is completely cooked & the water is all dried add ghee or butter. Mix well. & fry for another 2- 3 min on medium flame.
Serve hot with dahi wali roti , or laccha paratha
Notes
Always use small boneless pieces of chicken for this recipe
If you omit / reduce cashews & ghee from this recipe you can include it in your weight loss menu
Low flame is the key to this recipe because if the juices are burnt chicken will not be cooked properly.
Almonds can also be used in place of cashews
