Ingredients
- 1 kg Potato
- Cold Water
- Oil (for deep frying)
- 1-2 tsp Salt (or as per taste)

Instructions
- Cut potatoes into sticks or wedges
- Place potato sticks in a bowl
- Cover with cold water
- Allow potatoes to soak for about one hour
- Heat to oil in a pan
- Remove potatoes from the water Pat dry
- Carefully place some of the potato sticks into hot oil
- You'll need to do several, smaller batches for best results
- Stir occasionally and watch for that golden brown
- Once finished, remove from hot oil and place on paper-towel
- Generously toss with sea salt and serve immediately
