aloo bhaji or potato bhaji or batata bhaji is a veg curry recipe made using boiled potatoes. The boiled potatoes are sauteed in some spices, herbs and served as a side dish.
This actually is a maharashtrian style of making batata bhaji but this particular recipe method is a common style of making aloo bhaji in south india too…

Ingredients
- 3 boiled n peeled potatoes
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 4 roughly chopped green chillies
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 3 tablespoon Oil

Instructions
- Boil and peeled potatoes, cut it into small pieces. Heat oil in pan, crackle mustard seeds and curry leaves when seeds stop crackling add green chillies and saute for 15seconds.
- Add salt and turmeric powder mix it then add potatoes with 1/2 cup water and mix it well. Cover the lid n cook till sabzi get little dry.
- Batata bhaji is ready to serve, serve this with hot puris and garlic or peanut chutney.
