Kanda Batata Poha

Ingredients
- 2 cups thick beaten rice Jada Poha -washed in running water
- 1 large size potatoes boil, peel and cut into small pieces
- 1 medium size onion chopped
- 3 spicy green chillies
- Some curry leaves broken
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- Salt
- 1/3 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 4 tbsp Oil
- 1 lemon cut into 4-5 pieces
Instructions
- Heat oil in wok, splutter mustard seeds, curry leaves when both stop spluttering.
- Add onion and cook till onion get translucent. Add green chillies n saute for 15seconds.
- Add turmeric powder n mix it well.
- Add potatoes n saute minutes on medium flame.
- Add salt in it and mix it well. Place beaten rice in a strainer. Rinse under running water till it’s soft.
- Add it in wok n mix it well. Cook it on low flame for 3minutes till the Poha get yellowish in color. Add coriander leaves n mix it. Switch off the gas.
- Kanda Batata Poha is ready to serve. Serve this hot with lemon slices.
