A very simple recipe that I used to make during my college days, when we were hard pressed for time, efforts, extremely cautious about weight, want something filling and fast so that we are saving time for studies. I did not want to approach mother all the time to prepare something for me, so I devised this one which I can enjoy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 Of medium size cabbage chopped
  • 1 Small size onion chopped
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 1 Green chilly chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon zeera
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
  • Salt
  • Red chilly powder according to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 8 Bread slices I used brown bread

Instructions
 

  • First of all finish all cutting and chopping
  • In a bowl take chopped cabbage, onion, tomato, green chilly, coriander, salt and chilly powder mix all ingredients nicely
  • Now take two bread slices apply oil on one side of both the bread. Keep the sandwich mixture on bread slice as shown in picture
  • Take a normal sandwich maker place the sandwich in it and cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes or till it is properly cooked from both side Repeat the steps with rest of the sandwiches
  • Serve it with a cup of tea or coffee
