Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup yellow moong dal washed and soaked for 1 hour
  • ½ bunch Methi leaves
  • 4-5 garlic pods
  • Salt as per taste
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tomato big
  • 1/2 cup peas

Instructions
 

  • Wash and chop the methi leaves. In cooker heat oil and fry garlic. Add methi leaves and the peas.
  • Fry for 5 minutes on slow gas.Add dal. Fry for 5 more minutes. Add tomatoes and all masalas.
  • Add 1 cup water and cook for 2 whistles.
  • Serve with roti or rice.
