Sabudana vadas are crisp vadas made from sago (taro root) and other ingredients . It is famous in Maharashtra .usually made while fasting .can be eaten as a snack too.

Ingredients
  

  • Soaked sago
  • penut powder
  • boiled potato
  • sama flour
  • water chestnut flour
  • cumin seed
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • green chilly
  • coriander leaves
  • red chilly powder

Instructions
 

  • soak sago about 7 hours in equal amount of water.(overnight )
  • Mash boiled potato. Add soaked sago, peanut powder , sama flour, water chestnut flour, cumin seeds , red chilly powder , salt, sugar, green chilly and coriander leaves (chopped )
  • Bind all ingredients together. Take a small portion and make a ball. little flatten it to form vada / tikki shape. Deep fry in hot oil/ clarified butter till golden brown and crisp .serve hot with green coconut chutney .
