Honey Butterscotch Cookies

Soft and chewy honey butterscotch cookies made with combination of whole wheat flour and banana flour. Apart from providing sweetness, honey is also giving a nice caramelized flavor to the cookies along with the butterscotch chips. A perfect and healthy snack option for kids and adults.

Ingredients
  

  • Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
  • Raw banana flour 1/2 cup
  • Egg medium size 1
  • Butter 30 g
  • Honey 1/4 cup
  • Butterscotch chips 2 tablespoon
  • vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions
 

  • Take the egg, honey, butter in a deep bowl. Whisk them well till the mixture turns smooth and creamy.
  • Add vanilla extract, give it a stir.
  • Add the flour and butterscotch chips, form a sticky dough. Refrigerate the dough for half an hour.
  • Drop the dough 2 inches apart on a parchment lined baking tray. Leave space between the cookies as these tend to spread on baking.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until they turn golden brown. They will remain soft once out of the oven, will harden on cooling. .
  • store in airtight container on cooling. These will stay good for ten days
