Ayran/Laban (Savoury Yogurt Drink)

Indians call it lassi, Arabs call it Ayran or Laban, call it by any name, it 's a cooling yogurt drink widely enjoyed in the scorching summers throughout the Middle Eastern countries. Laban can be made either thinner or thicker depending on one's liking. It is a must have summer drink here.

Ingredients
  

  • Thick yogurt 400gm
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves 5 or 6
  • Ice cubes 5-6

Instructions
 

  • Blend all the ingredients until thick and foamy for a good 3-4 minutes.
  • Add some ice cubes and serve chilled with few mint leaves on top.
