Iral Varuval is a South Indian style prawn fry. Prawn Varuval is an easy, simple and quick recipe. It is a spicy prawn recipe. It serves as a great side dish and also a great party appetizer. Just few basic ingredients and your delicious and tasty prawn fry recipe is ready.

Ingredients
  

  • Prawns - 250 gms
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder - ¼ tsp
  • Corainder powder - ½ tsp
  • Thick Curd - 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil 3-4 tbsps
  • Green chilly onion, coriander leaves and Lemon for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Devien and wash the prawns and pat them dry with kitchen towel.
  • In a mixing bowl add all the above ingredients, mix well and make them into a smooth paste.
  • Add the cleaned prawns, mix well and marinate them for few mins. The longer marination the better.
  • Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot ads the marinated prawns and fry on medium heat till golden.
  • Squeeze some lemon juice before serving and serve with slices onions, green chilly and lemon.
