- Prawns 300 grams
- Cinnamon 1 small stick
- Cardamon 2
- Clove 2
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Onion 1 large chopped finely
- Green chilly 3 chopped
- Tomato 1 large chopped finely
- Chilly powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder 1 tsp
- Coconut ¼ cup finely grated
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil 3 tbsps
- Water as required
- Few chopped coriander leaves

- Heat the oil in a pan. Add the whole spices and let it crackle.
- Add the onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, half of curry leaves and saute for 2 mins.
- Add the powdered masalas except the garam masala powder. Mix well and saute for a min.
- Add the prawns, cover the pan and cook in low flame till the water evaporates completely which will take around 5 mins or little more.
- Add water as required, garam masala powder, grated coconut, remaining curry leaves, mix well.
- Cook on high flame for around 10 mins stirring occasionally.
- Adjust the gravy consistency as per your requirement, add lemon juice and take off the flame.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
