Instructions
- First of all add yeast and sugar to a cup of warm milk.
- Stir lightly and allow it to prove.Combine the rest of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and add the yeast mix into it.
- Make a smooth dough out of it. Knead it well for 5 minutes and cover. Allow it to rise by keeping it in a warm place for atleast 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, punch down the dough once and divide it into four portions.Divide further into 12 balls each. In this way we will have 48 balls out of the 4 portions. Add cheese in each and shape them back into a ball neatly.
- See to it that each ball is round and neatly shaped. Arrange them all closely just as to resemble a honeycomb. Give them all a milk wash and sprinkle blackseeds or sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven on 180° for 20 to 25 minutes. Make sugar syrup of thick consistency with water and sugar in equal quantities. There is no need for a string consistency. After it thickens, add rose water to it.
- While it's still hot and just out of the oven, pour this sugar syrup on top so as to drench it completely. Tadaa!!!!!! It's all ready to be devoured.
Notes
Yeast should be a good quality one. Sesame seeds can also be used in place of blackseeds. Any good brand of cheese can be used for this awesome bread.
