Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered cookies I used butter cookies
  • 3.5 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp heavy whipping cream

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or imitation vanilla
  • 1/4 cup Chopped pieces of walnuts
  • Few chocolate morsels/shavings optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 Deg F (180 Deg C).
  • Crush cookies in mixie. Add melted butter to it. Mix well to form a dough.
  • Bring sugar, cream and butter to a boil on med heat. Keep stirring so it doesn't burn at the bottom. Switch off gas gas once it's come to a boil. Add vanilla and walnuts. Stir.
  • Line muffin tray with paper liners. Divide the biscuit mix in equal amount and dab into the liners evenly.
  • With spoon, spread the syrup over the biscuit crush evenly.
  • Bake for 11 mins or till its bubbling. Remove from oven and drop chocolate morsels/shavings and let them rest. Leave aside to cool at RT or refrigerate until firm (cover with cling film).

Notes

Alternatively, take a square tin. Line it with nonstick parchment paper and press the crush evenly. It should be at least 3/4-1″ in thickness (so cookie crush amount as well as syrup will need to be adjusted accordingly). Spread the syrup evenly and bake. After cooling, cut in squares or any desired shapes.
