Walnut Crusted Chicken Tenders

Walnut Crusted chicken tenders are soft juicy and as well very crunchy chicken preparation for as party starters or daily snacks. Walnut which is very good for health and this recipe other than nutrition its gives a crunchy texture. It is kids friendly, easy to make and tasty too. Try this recipe hope everyone will love it.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 piece boneless chicken breast
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup walnut pieces
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 egg
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • Vegetable oil/olive oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Pat dry chicken breasts with a kitchen towel/ paper towel. Add garlic, powder onion, Italian seasoning, black pepper and salt in it . Drizzle some oil and rub them on chicken breasts very well.
  • Heat a skillet and roast walnut pieces for 5 minutes. Then put them in blender along with bread crumbs and blend until finely ground. Pour breadcrumbs and nut mixture to a wide tray, add red chili powder and mix well.
  • Add flour to a shallow tray and mix salt on it. Beat eggs on a bowl add salt on it.
  • Take one chicken piece and drench it on flour then dip it on beaten egg, lastly coat it on breadcrumb mixture by pressing slightly. do same to all. cover it up and rest it in a freezer for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes preheat oven to 350 degree. Now heat oil in a frying pan and fry chicken breasts, each side for 2 minutes. In a baking tray place baking sheet place fried chicken and bake for 15 minutes. Serve with your favorite sauce.
