  • 1 cup Semolina
  • 1 cup Curd
  • Vegetables carrots, capsicum, onions - 2 cups chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic or paste chopped or in paste form
  • 1 tbsp Vermicelli roasted
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1 packet Eno


  • Soak semolina in curd for 15-20 min. Add all vegetables, ginger garlic, vermicelli and salt. Mix well Add water to adjust the consistency.
  • In the last add 1 sachet of eno for instant fermentation.
  • Grease idli moulds with little oil and prepare the idlis in steamer or microwave.
  • Vegetable idlis are ready. Serve coconut chutney and enjoy a healthy breakfast.
