Sweet version of puffed lotus seeds are great to carry wherever you go, yes they are seriously prefect to pack for travel. If i plan a trip, i dont carry oily foods with us, i do pack quick snacks like oven roasted almonds, cashews or else quick and oil free rice flakes mixture/chivdas or else baked goodies.

Ingredients
- 3 cup Lotus Seeds (or makhana puffed makhana)
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
- Take sugar in a vessel, add quarter cup of water and bring boil and cook until the syrup turns as double string consistency.Add the vanilla extract and mix.
- Put off the stove and add the puffed lotus seeds to the sugar syrup. Toss the puffed lotus seeds well with the sugar syrup.
- And let it cool completely. Conserve the sugar coated puffed lotus seeds in an air tightened box. Pack in ziploc bag if you are planning to carry for a trip
