  • Wash and soak the rice for 1/2 hour at least. boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan ,after a boil out the rice and cardamom powder.
  • Stir continuously and cook until milk is absorbed and mixture becomes medium thick. It will take approx 20 to 25 minutes on low flame. Mixture will become very thick when it cools, so keep medium thick consistency.
  • Now add chopped nuts,coconut and sugar .
  • Add the puree at this stage mix well and switch off the flame . cool it ,garnish with chopped nuts before serving
  • Note------serve chilled after dinner and serve hot with pooreis , .also made in strawberry flavored milk
