About Springonion Chutney
A tangy chutney that goes well with rice, rotis and even parathas. It also makes for a yummy spread on sandwiches and wraps/rolls. Absolutely an easily done chutney with few simplest of pantry staples. It is a yummy alternative to the common chutneys that always take the front seat. Simple, flavourful and aromatic, this one is sure to tickle your tastebuds. It can be relished with plain boiled rice and ghee for a true comfort meal on any given day.

Ingredients
- 1 bunch Green Onion
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Red Onion
- 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Tempering or oil for the oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 10 leaves Curry
- 3 Red Chillies dry

Instructions
- Heat oil and saute the coriander seeds as well as the garlic cloves. After sauteeing for a while, add both chopped onion and green onion. After 2 minutes, add the chopped tomato. Cook until tender.
- After 10 mins, switch off the flame and let it cool. Blend all into a smooth paste using as little water as possible. Temper the chutney and serve hot with plain rice and fish fry. It tastes heavenly.
